The Hemp Entourage Effect

What does “Full Spectrum” Cold Pressed, Hemp Seed Oil Actually Mean?

What does full spectrum hemp seed oil actually meanFull spectrum, cold pressed hemp seed oil is simply the unadulterated extract of the seeds from the plant, including all of its active compounds, terpenes, nutrients, and more! The natural extraction of all the nutrients by basically squeezing it incredibly hard. However Hemp Seed oil is simply a carrier oil. There are Hemp seeds and health benefits but it is not the same as CBD oil therefore Hemp seed Oil Vs CBD Oil.

Yes you have to be careful because Hemp Seed Oil does NOT actually contain CBD, the Cannabinoids. It has to have this added into it to make it an effective CBD oil. As the CBD from hemp comes from the leaves, stems and flowers of the plant.

Cannabinoids are added to the Hemp Seed oil by enriching it with a special proprietary hemp phyto-flour.  Or by adding refined CBDs that have been extracted using the Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction methods. The good news is Now there are now RESULT focused Proven companies that are selling Full Spectrum Hemp Oil For Sale.

It’s EASY to get and ready to help YOU with all sorts of aliments from Epilepsy to Alzheimer’s. From Anxiety to Arthritis. Even Pain and skin problems. The great thing about it is, the Hemp cannabis plant actually contains over 100 different photocannabinoids, all of which work together in the body in beneficial ways.

what is cbd oil or hemp

The interesting thing is if you try to extract one of the cannabinoids in isolation like an isolated CBD oil in a refined coconut oil, different processing methods can actually damage the other photocannabinoids and lessen the effect. Therefore, “Cold Pressing” is totally natural and a much better and safer way to extract ALL of the nutrients the best way.

Nutrients, Terpenes, Flavonoids and Cannabinoids that you want to work in harmony, to create an “entourage effect” boosting the effectiveness of the powerful properties of Hemp.

Cannabinoids.

There has been at least 113 Different photocannabinoids isolated from the Hemp/cannabis plant. Everyone knows that THC is one of them. However, in Hemp there is only a very small amount of THC, or Tetrahydrocannabininol.

The rest of the Cannabinoids dominating, as Hemp is different to marijuana. As I have mentioned before everyone has been frightened of it because of its pointy green leaves similar to marijuana. The THC is so low thought that if you smoked a whole field you wouldn’t even get high. You would just cough a lot!

The popular Cannabinoid is of course CBD. However, “Full Spectrum” means that nothing has been isolated, or removed and the full range of all the photocannabioids are included and still there. So all of the 113 or so cannabinoids are still there in their various percentages. (as mentioned THC is very low.) Including cannabinol (CBN) and Cannabigerol (CGB) etc.

More information on the Cannabinoids can be found at: Wikipedia.

The Power And Benefit OF Terpenes!

Another inclusion in “Full Spectrum” is the Terpenes.

Terpenes is basically the chemicals that create the “Smell” of the plant. The aromatic organic hydrocarbons found in many plants and even some insects. Some plants developed these terpenes to ward off herbivores that might eat them and to attract helpful predators and pollinators.

That’s why some flowers smell so nice, to attract the bees for pollination. And if you’ve ever been around a Hemp plant when it’s in full flower that’s why you will know what it smells like as well.

Again because a product is “Cold Pressed” and “Full Spectrum” nothing is left out or destroyed in the processing and still included keeping it totally natural. Therefore the Terpenes that are in the Seed of what is cold pressed is still included. There can be up to 200 different terpenes in the cannabis plant, depending on the scientific classification. More on Terpene at: Wikipedia

Essential Fats, Vitamins & Minerals & Protein.

To hold together all the photocannabinoids and terpenins etc there is a mixture of the Essential Fats, Vitamins, Minerals & Protein. This is all part of what “Full-spectrum” means.

Hemp and cannabinoids have now been kept out of western diet for approximately 3 generations. But now people are once again discovering that some of the vitamins in hemp oil are not easily obtained in most foods.

Thanks to all its health benefits, Hemp was a staple in a lot of ancient pantries and medicine cabinets, with records going back to the ancient Egyptians.

All the nutrients found in the Full Specturm Hemp Seed oil actually work together to help support the body’s natural ability to keep well. Isolating just one aspect is never as beneficial as consuming the full spectrum!

All the Essential Fats, Vitamins & Minerals. All working together in harmony to help YOU.

Squeezed Hard, Keeping Everything!

So there you have it, “Full Spectrum, Cold Pressed” in very, very basic terms means it’s been squeezed REAL hard to extract every last drop. Plus every drop has been used not leaving anything out, so it contains all the ingredients.

Ingredients like all the cannabinoids, all the terpenes and all the Essential Fats, minerals & vitamins and Protein. And keeping everything together in my opinion makes it all work in harmony much better, not damaging it using “Cold Pressing” the natural way.

The primary concern is that everyone is worried about THC but it is a total FACT that there is less that 0.3% THC in the extract, minuscule amounts. That won’t even get you high. Hemp and Marijuana are simply not the same thing. I will talk about that in another Blog post, but the biggest difference is the THC content.

What Does Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil Mead

  1. To make this, do manufacturers follow the same extraction process as essential oils? Please explain this in more detail for me.

    1. Hello Catherine, There are various ways of Extracting essential oil, with essential oils, popular extraction methods include: Steam Distillation, Solvent Extraction, CO2 Extraction.
However with “Cold Pressing” the extraction process involves a seed press. Which helps to retain all the goodness keeping Hemp pure, raw and as unprocessed as modern technology can get. First you dispense raw seeds into the seed hopper, then an expeller screw crushes the seeds. Next, the oils run through canals where the pulp gets separated from the oil. Squashing the oil out, you have to be careful of the seed temperature as well, too high or too low temperature can effect the level of the quality and the amount of oil produced so there is a temperature limit of about 120 degrees Fahrenheit (49 degrees Celsius) for cold pressing. Which is why it’s called Cold Pressing. For details on Cold Pressing have a look at Ministry Of Hemp Cold Pressing.
